I love attending the HD South Gala event each year. Denise is a pillar in the community and continues to make learning and preserving the history of Gilbert on the forefront for future generations. There are great ways to be engaged throughout the year and plenty of activities to bring your family and friends to. Consider having a 1-1 with Denise. You won’t regret it.

HD South is a pillar of our local community, preserving the history of this Town of Gilbert; in essence - it gives back to the community. Not only are amazing classes offered and cool artifacts and arts exhibited, but the building itself is beautiful.

The Museum is run by a team lead by Denise Lopez, a powerhouse full of passion for preservation! Each year, Denise and a team organize an incredible gala fundraiser for improvements and beautification of the property, among other things. This stellar event with dinner, both silent and live auctions, a wine pull, an on-site engraving artist, and a live band to dance the night away is not to be missed. And we don't.

We highly recommend familiarizing yourself with this local piece of history, its purpose, and those who benefit from it.
