We take pride in offering a diverse range of events, catering to different preferences and fostering meaningful connections among our network members. Here are the different types of events we provide:
Mixers: Held at various network business locations, these gatherings are specifically designed to bring our members together for an evening of mixing and mingling. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet and interact with fellow network members. However, the key lies in extending the relationship-building process beyond the event itself. Building lasting connections is the ultimate goal.
Lunch Mobs – These events take place at select network restaurants and are designed for individuals who can take a break from their workday to share a meal with fellow network members. Besides the opportunity to meet new people, attendees can foster connections while relishing a brief respite from the day’s chaos.
Golf Outings: If you prefer a smaller group setting, our bi-monthly golf outings are the perfect fit. Taking place at exclusive network golf courses, these events provide a wonderful opportunity to build relationships while enjoying a round of golf. After the game, we all gather for post-round cocktails and networking, further enhancing the camaraderie.
Golf Excursions: Our out-of-town golf outings provide an excellent opportunity to disconnect from the daily grind and genuinely connect with others. Annually, we embark on a golf trip to Palm Springs, CA, and during the summer, we venture north to Pine Top to escape the heat. Beyond enjoying several rounds of golf, these events cultivate enduring friendships as network members invest in each other, both on and off the fairways. In many respects, they resemble networking retreats, often resulting in participants returning with new, meaningful friendships
Bonus Events: We like to keep things exciting with a variety of ever-changing events. From entertaining pub crawls to our annual poker tournament, which supports non-profit organizations within our network, these events are both fun and meaningful. Additionally, we organize activities like suites at sporting events and more. These occasions offer a less formal business setting, allowing you to build rapport and foster strong relationships that extend beyond just professional connections, enriching both your personal life and business endeavours.
We want to emphasize a significant aspect of Above Par Network’s growth strategy: we do not invest any money in marketing efforts. Since our inception in January 2019, we have organically expanded our membership to over 250 individuals. Our belief is that quality people naturally attract other like-minded individuals to the table. Relying on organic growth ensures that our network remains authentic and aligned with our values.
Choosing not to spend on marketing and advertising serves a purpose. It allows us to avoid bringing in individuals who may not fit well with our culture and values. We prioritize authenticity over superficial connections. Spending resources on marketing might attract people who are not genuinely committed to building meaningful relationships or may lack the dedication to follow through on their endeavours.
